Surgery June 18th

Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks, I have been getting pain flare ups plus trying to keep up with school work and going to appointments. A few weeks ago my mom got a call from dr. Sinervo. He told her how even though I'm still on lupron the endometriosis is still growing which we were not told. We were told the the lupron will suppress the growth of it but according to dr. Sinervo it doesn't. For those of you who don't know who dr. Sinervo is, he is an endometriosis specialists in Atlanta, Georgia at the Center for Endometriosis Care (CEC). He is known all over the world for helping women with endometriosis get the help they need. I have heard nothing but positive about him. Anyways, so we got the call from him and he said he would like to see me and do a surgery. My last surgery was only in October so I wasn't sure if it was safe to get another one yet. But I trust this doctor. He said that there is a special technique he can do that not many doctors know of that can really clean the area out thoroughly and even stop the growth. He has had a ton of success with this surgery and many of the women he has worked on have not had any pain since. On June 18th, I will undergo this surgery that may possibly give me the life of a normal teenager. This may change my life for the better, and I am so excited to have it done.
